This month in the Junior Room, we have been learning all about animals. In our role play area, we set up a Vet’s Surgery and we read lots of books about animals. Our favourite was ‘Hairy McLary From Donaldson’s Dairy!
We were very lucky to have a visit from Cahirs mom Jacqui, who is a registered vetinary nurse. She even brought her dog Riley with her!
Riley pretended to be our patient, and Jacqui taught us what happens when you bring a pet to the vet. We had so much fun!
Thanks so much to Jacqui for teaching us all about animals and to the best dog, Riley, for being so patient and gentle!
