Croagh Moyle Hike ⛰️🥾

Very well done to all 17 children (and teachers!) who made it to the summit of Croagh Moyle today! The peak is 430m above sea level. We walked just over 9km in total, with a couple of pit stops along the way.

The weather was against us today unfortunately so visibility was very poor. On a good day there are wonderful views of Clew Bay, framed by Croagh Patrick and Clare Island; Nephin, Lough Conn to the north and Lough Mask to the south. Ben Bulben can also be seen on a clear day.

Nevertheless, we had a great adventure, the children showed great fitness and endurance on what is a fairly challenging hike. Well done everybody!
