Lily & Anna contest the throw-in
Well done to our boys and girls who participated in the local Mini 7s competition in Swinford today.

Our boys joined forces with our friends in Straide NS to form a team.

Our girls got the show on the road with a great win over Bohola in a very tight game. They then went on to the semi-final where they were narrowly beaten by Midfield, who themselves were victorious in the final against Foxford.

The Craggagh/Straide boys combined team opened their account by recording a fantastic victory over Bohola. They were then edged out in the semi-final by a superb Foxford team. As with the girls, the boys’ conquerors proved to be the eventual tournament winners.

The Craggagh children did themselves proud, well done all!

Stand Up for Primary Education

Dear Parents,

The  INTO  has  launched  a  pre-budget  campaign  calling  for  greater  investment  in  primary

These two issues are of particular importance to us in Craggagh NS.
Your support as parents and constituents is greatly needed in this campaign. You can add your voice to the campaign by emailing our local TDs. Simply click on the link to the campaign website and fill in your details to contact our five TDs.

Ancient Egypt in 1st, 2nd & 3rd

We were learning all about Ancient Eygpt in our class last month. We researched Egyptian Pharoahs, pyramids, hieroglyphs and mummies!

We used hieroglyphs to make a cartouche of our names.

We’ve been working very hard on our handwriting since we returned to school in September.
